    Easy Wine Slushy

Move over wine cooler, there's a new wine cocktail in town!

There's no easier cocktail to whip up than a wine slushy. Everything goes into the blender and transforms into a slushy wine drink with great fruit flavors.

Some recipes call for added sweeteners or syrupy liqueurs. Ours just has fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and ice cubes!

This is an great way to stretch a bottle of wine to go further too!

A favorite drink for girl's night, pool parties, book clubs and a great party drink! An instant hit on a hot day.

    What's a wine slushy?

It's a wine cocktail made with wine, ice and fruit. It's blended into a slushy mix without being completely frozen like a margarita.

There are both red wine slushies and white wine slushies.

Because of the alcohol content you won't get frozen wine. It's a delicious drink

    What makes this skinny?

    • No simple syrup or added sweeteners
    • No extra liqueurs for flavor or sweetening

For those using WW SmartPoints this cocktail calculated at 6 points (all plans) when selecting 'the recipe is a drink' and 4 points (all plans) if calculating the ingredients directly.

    Recipe Ingredients + Notes

Moscato wine. This type of wine was selected specifically for this fruit combination. We tried drier wines like Pinot Grigio but felt it needed a bit of sweetness. Any brand will work.

Mango. Select a ripe mango. Mango has a distinct but light flavor. If the fruit isn't ripe it won't have as much flavor and won't blend as well into the cocktail slush mix.

Passion fruit. You'll use the pulp of three fruits or frozen fruit can be used. If using fresh passion fruit, cut it in half and scoop out the seedy pulp to use.

Frozen passion fruit pulp is also available (we've used this type). Use ⅓ cup. It doesn't need to be thawed first.

Ice Cubes. Three cups of ice are used. Just pop them out of the ice cube trays straight into the blender.

    Variations

This recipe is very flexible to change up and use different flavors. Try out some summer fruits or make strawberry wine slushies.

There are so many easy recipes that can be created using your favorite wine.

Start with your favorite bottles of wine and add in fruits you love. Different wines create different flavors of vino slush perfect any time of the year.

Best wine to use for white wine slushies

Generally any white wine can be used however for this wine slushy Moscato wine is used. A sweet wine works best with the fruit flavors to make it sweet enough that it does not need added sweeteners.

If you don't want to use Moscato select another wine that's on the sweeter side for this recipe.

How to Make Wine Slushy recipes - Step-by-Step

Add everything into a blender and process until smooth! If needed due to blender pitcher size, divide into two batches and combine in a pitcher before serving.

white wine slushy recipes steps 1-4

    Pro Tips

Use ripe mango for best flavor. Mangoes have a distinct flavor but unless they are truly ripe they aren't that sweet.

The pulp of three passion fruits may be used or ⅓ cup passion fruit puree. The puree can be frozen too.
