Equipment

Ingredients

  • 6* large Eggs start with clean eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 270 degrees F.
  • Add eggs directly into the air fryer basket or use an air fryer wire rack to keep the eggs to keep them from moving; either works.
  • Cook for 17 minutes at 270 degrees F. While the eggs are cooking prepare an ice water bath with cold water and ice.
  • When the cooking completes use tongs to transfer the eggs from the air fryer into the ice bath. Allow them to soak until full cool to the touch; 5-10 minutes.
The eggs can be peeled and eaten or stored in the refrigerator.

Notes

Recipe serving size and amount
The amount of eggs to be cooked will be determined by the size of your air fryer. You can cook as few as one egg at a time or up the number your air fryer basket can hold. The serving number for the recipe noted above is random. The nutritional information and WW Personal Points are for 1 egg.
Recipe times
There is no preparation time outside rinsing and drying eggs requiring cleaning. There will be approximately 3-4 minutes air fryer preheating time, 17 minutes cooking time and 5-10 minutes soaking in the ice bath.
All Air Fryers are different
We did our recipe testing in a Cosori 5.8 quart air fryer which uses 1700 watts. Other machines may vary in terms of cooking times to get the best results.
How to store
Store cooled cooked air fryer hard boiled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Using a hard-sided container will prevent the shells from cracking from other items in the refrigerator.
The cooked eggs can also be stored peeled. Place in a container with a damp paper towel on the bottom and top of the container to keep eggs moist. Or store in a bowl of cold water in the refrigerator. The water will need to be replaced daily. Peeled eggs should only be kept up to 2 days.
