- 1 pound carrots select similar size carrots; rinsed, peeled and cut into ¼-inch thick diagonal slices
- olive oil spray
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh thyme to garnish
Air Fryer
In a large bowl, add the carrots, maple syrup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spritz with olive oil spray. Toss to coat the carrots.
Place the carrots in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400 ˚F for 10 minutes stirring halfway through cooking.
Serve in a serving dish, garnish with fresh thyme.
Oven
Preheat the oven to 400 ˚F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Follow STEP 1 in the Air Fryer instructions above.
Place the carrot on the baking sheet in a single layer. Cook at 400 ˚F for 10 minutes stirring halfway through cooking.
Cooking Time
Test for doneness and add more time if needed. Each air fryer cooks slightly differently.
