Course: cocktail
Cuisine: Latin America
Diet: Low Calorie
Servings: 1
Calories: 131kcal
- 2 ounces silver or blanco tequila
- 8 ounces grapefuit sparkling water
Skinny tip:
To reduce the calories and points reduce the tequila to 1.5 ounces. It removes around 30 calories and 2 WW SmartPoints (all plans); the cocktail will be 3 points instead of 5 points.
Optional sweetening: some agave nectar can be added for sweetening.
To salt rim a glass:
This technique can be used to create any salt or sugar rim on a glass. For this Paloma we suggest only salt rimming the glass if sweetening the cocktail.
- Pour coarse salt (or margarita salt) onto a small shallow dish. It should be deep enough to get about ¼-inch of the rim of the glass covered.
- Slide a lime wedge around the rim of your glass to wet it.
- Turn the glass upside down and dip rim of glass into the salt.
- Gently turn back and forth to coat the rim.
- Place the glass upright and allow the salt rim to dry before pouring in the refreshing cocktail!
